"In Bloom" is my contribution to a collaborative card set themed around "flowers." I created the cards in Adobe Illustrator as full vectors, using overlays and effects like radial blur to add dimension and visual interest.

Assigned to create cards designs based on four adjectives, our theme of flowers allows us to use pre-existing meanings of flowers to our advantage. My four flowers were: Angel's Trumpets, Orchids, Lotuses, and Snapdragons, representing Deceitful, Luxurious, Pure, and Strong respectfully.

This project was a really good chance for me to practice my vector skills and figure out how to simplify forms to communicate an idea.
